Please phone between 8:30am and 5:30pm to book an appointment. For same-day appointents, please phone before 10am.

Please do not phone before 8:30am for routine appointment requests, as this time is reserved for urgent enquiries only.

 

General enquiries and test results
Please phone between 10:00am and 5:00pm for general enquiries and test results.

This helps us keep the early morning phone lines available for patients who need urgent medical help.

If your enquiry is urgent and cannot wait, please phone the practice on 01968 675 576.

Between 8:00am and 8:30am, and between 5:30pm and 6:00pm, the phone lines are for urgent enquiries only.

Out of Hours / NHS 24

Eastfield Medical Practice is open Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

When the practice is closed, urgent medical advice is provided by NHS 24.

If you need urgent medical help and the practice is closed, please phone NHS 24 on 111.

NHS 24 can assess your symptoms and, where appropriate, arrange advice or care from the most suitable service. This may include self-care advice, pharmacy advice, a GP out-of-hours service, mental health support, or urgent care.

For a life-threatening emergency, phone 999 immediately or go to A&E. This includes symptoms such as chest pain, signs of a stroke, severe breathing difficulty, severe bleeding, a severe injury, a seizure, a severe allergic reaction, or where someone has tried to end their life.

For minor illnesses, your local community pharmacy can often help through NHS Pharmacy First Scotland. You usually do not need an appointment.

Please do not wait until the practice reopens if you need urgent medical help.
