If you wish your prescription to be collected by a local chemist then please stipulate which chemist when ordering (Beatties (Rowlands chemist opposite Tescos) McWinnies (Rowlands chemist in Penicuik precinct) Lloyds, Sainsbury’s and Roslin pharmacy (attached to Roslin medical practice) all collect prescriptions regularly from the practice. It takes 2-4 days for you prescription to be produced and dispensed if you order in this fashion.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
